Rising Above Review

The 5th Annual Rising Above Virtual Sales and Management Summit was a resounding success!  Both Derron Steenbergen and Speed Marriott joined forces in Kansas City to bring together industry experts and share their insights with the broadcast community.

The two-day summit powered by Ten-Minute Trainer Network (tenminutetrainernetwork.com) kicked off with Wednesday sessions geared toward management and leadership.  Sessions tackled industry-wide shifts, from recruiting challenges to motivation strategies, and even explored the power of emotional intelligence in fostering connections.  Live chat buzzed with questions, sparking lively conversations between speakers and attendees.

Wednesday then transitioned to an all-star lineup of sales experts, sharing ideas, stories, and game-changing tips the following day.  Attendees brought their own sales hurdles to the table, from data-sharing dilemmas to overcoming client resistance.  Live polls powered by Borrell Associates kept everyone engaged, revealing fascinating trends and diverse viewpoints.

Over lunch, BMI artist Nelson Cade III captivated the audience with his incredible talent, performing several songs and sharing his inspiring journey on The Voice.  Speed Marriot, Derron Steenbergen, and Brandeis Hall closed out the day by addressing questions submitted throughout the presentations.

Special thanks to our Presenting Sponsor AdCellerant (adcellerant.com), Membership Sponsor NASBA (nasbaonline.net), and Polling Sponsor Borrell Associates (borrellassociates.com) for their invaluable support. And of course a huge thank you to everyone who attended Rising Above 5!

And finally, the deepest gratitude to our amazing presenters who inspired, motivated, and educated us: Paul Jacobs, Arminda Lindsay, Paul Moehring, Dr. Terry Daniels, Erik Therwanger, Brandeis Hall, Chris Lytle, Elizabeth Bernberg, and Tammy Wellbrock. You rock!

We hope to see you all at Rising Above 6 (yes, you heard it here first). Stay tuned!
