2. USE OF SUBSCRIPTION SERVICE
Our online Subscription Service allows any company that uses it to enroll employee data into our system to access online training. As employees interact with our platform, usage data is also collected. This information, which is stored and managed on our servers, is then used so our clients can create reporting and communicate to employees via our system. P1 Learning provides the Subscription Service to our customers for their own employee training, and we use it for our own internal employee training.
3. TYPES OF INFORMATION WE COLLECT
3.1 At our Website
You may explore the Website freely without providing us with any “Personal Information” (defined below). However, when you visit the Website or register for the Subscription Service, we may request that you provide Personal Information. We also collect “Navigational Information” (defined below) about your visits to our Website.
3.2 “Personal Information”
Information about Users that is maintained on P1 Learning’s systems is protected using industry standard security measures. However, no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and P1 Learning cannot guarantee that the information submitted to, maintained on or transmitted from its systems will be completely secure. P1 Learning is not responsible for the circumvention of any privacy settings or security measures relating to the Site by any Users or third parties.

“Navigational Information” means information about your visits to this website and your computer, including your IP address, geographical location, browser type, referral source, length of visit and pages viewed. For more information about this type of information, please see Section 5 below.
3.4 “Sensitive Information”
This refers to employee Social Security numbers, demographic or other employment information.

The P1 Learning Website is not intended for or targeted at children under age 13, and we do not knowingly or intentionally collect information about children under age 13. 4. HOW WE USE INFORMATION WE COLLECT

We do not, and we never will, sell your Personal Information to any third party.
4.3 Use of Personal Information
We use any Personal Information collected through our Subscription Service for the following purposes: (a) to provide the Subscription Service; (b) to respond to requests for customer support; and (c) to fulfill our obligations under the P1 Learning Customer Terms of Service.
4.4 Use of Navigational Information
We use Navigational Information to operate and improve your experience with the Website and the Subscription Service. We may also use Navigational Information, either by itself or combined with Personal Information, in order to provide you with personalized information about P1 Learning.
4.5 Customer Testimonials and Comments
We post customer testimonials and comments on our Website, and these posts may contain Personal Information. We obtain each customer’s consent via email prior to posting the customer’s Personal Information and the testimonial.
4.6 Use of Credit Card Information
If you give us credit card information, we use it solely for the purpose of checking your financial qualifications and collecting payment from you, but we do not process your credit card. We use a third-party service provider to manage credit card processing. This service provider is not permitted to store, retain, or use information you provide except for the sole purpose of credit card processing on our behalf.

From time to time we employ other companies and people to provide services to visitors to our Website, our customers, and users of the Subscription Service. In such cases, we may need to share your information with them to provide information, products or services to you. Examples of such services may include analyzing data, removing repetitive information from prospect lists, providing marketing assistance, and supplementing the information you provide us so that we may provide you with better service. In all cases where we share your information with such third parties, we explicitly require the third party to acknowledge and adhere to our privacy and customer data handling policies.

We retain Personal Information that you provide us as long as we consider it potentially useful in contacting you about the Subscription Service or our other services, or as needed to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes and enforce our agreements. Then we securely delete the information. If you request, we will delete your Personal Information from our servers at an earlier date, as described in “Opting Out and Unsubscribing” below. If a customer terminates its use of the Subscription Service, then we will provide that customer with access to all information stored for the customer by the Subscription Service, including any Personal Information provided by you, for export by the customer according to our agreement with our customer, if requested. After termination, we may delete all customer information, including your Personal Information, from the Subscription Service after six months, unless we are legally prohibited from doing so.

5. NAVIGATIONAL INFORMATION
We also use “cookies” to help personalize your online experience with us. A cookie is a text file that is placed on your hard disk by a Web server. Cookies are uniquely assigned to you and can only be read by a Web server in the domain that issued the cookie to you. One of the primary purposes of cookies is to provide a convenience feature to save you time, for example by telling the Web server that you have returned to a specific page on the Website. Cookies are not used to run programs or deliver viruses to your computer.
Most Web browsers automatically accept cookies, but you can usually modify your browser setting to decline cookies if you prefer. It is your choice whether to accept or decline cookies. If you choose to decline cookies, however, you may not be able to fully experience the features of the Website. P1 Learning keeps track of the Website and pages you visit using a third-party service, to help determine which sections of the Website or Subscription Service are the most popular or most frequently used. This data is used to deliver customized content to customers within the Website whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area.
5.2 Log Files
We may also collect demographic information, such as your ZIP code, age, gender, preferences, interests and favorites using log files that are not associated with your name or other personal information. Information about your computer hardware and software is also automatically collected by us through a third party, which can include: your IP address, browser type, domain names, internet service provider (ISP), the files viewed on our site (e.g., HTML pages, graphics, etc.), operating system, clickstream data, access times and referring website addresses. We use this information to aid in the operation and to maintain the quality of the Subscription Service and to provide general statistics regarding use of the Website. For these purposes, we do link this automatically-collected data to Personal Information such as name, email address, address, and phone number.
5.3 Clear Gifs (Web Beacons/Web Bugs)
We use “Clear Gifs” (a.k.a. “Web Beacons”/“Web Bugs”), which is a software technology that helps us better manage the Website and Subscription Service by informing us which content is most effective. Clear Gifs are tiny graphics with a unique identifier that are used to track the online movements of Web users, similar in function to cookies. Unlike cookies, however, which are stored on a user’s computer hard drive, Clear Gifs are embedded invisibly on Web pages or in emails and are about the size of the period at the end of a sentence. For example, we use Clear Gifs in our HTML-based emails to let us know which emails have been opened by recipients, which allows us to evaluate the effectiveness of certain communications and of our marketing campaigns. In so doing, we connect the information gathered by Clear Gifs in emails to our customers’ Personal Information. If you would like to opt-out of receiving these emails, please refer to the section, “6. Opting Out and Unsubscribing” for details.
5.4 Single Sign-On for Our Clients
You can log in to our Subscription Service site using a Single Sign-on (SSO) service. This service will authenticate your identity and provide you the option to share certain personal information with us such as your name and email address to pre-populate certain forms.
