The Power of Networking

The Power of Networking

by | Oct 2, 2019

Last week the entire team at P1 Learning had the opportunity to attend the NAB’s Radio Show in Dallas, Texas. It was a great event showcasing the best of radio along with providing insight on what’s to come within the industry.

IMG_3156During this whirlwind of a week, we had the opportunity to sit down with not only existing clients, but potential clients as well. Events such as these are great for networking! Let’s face it, people love doing business with people they have met and see regularly, and networking is how you build and strengthen those relationships.

So if you’re considering attending an upcoming NAB Show or your State Broadcasters Association’s Convention, here are a few reasons why you should plan to make the trip…

  1. Helps you understand the needs within your industry.
  2. Develops new ideas for your business.
  3. Improves your verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
  4. Gives you the ability to gain valuable advice from like-minded professionals.
  5. Gives you the inspiration to be better or do better at your job.

In addition to soaking up as much industry information as possible, we also make it a priority to do a C.N.A.  (Customer Needs Analysis) to make sure we are on track with the changing training needs of our customer. In fact, we absolutely encourage each of you to do the same with your clients. Set up a coffee or lunch with them. Go over how things are going and see what you can do to make their lives a little easier.  If you need help with how to conduct a good C.N.A. don’t worry, we’ve got you covered! Start with the course “10 Tips to Get the Renewal”. Not a P1 Learning subscriber? Register for a 7-day demo, here.

Remember the power of networking is essential for the success for both your company and your personal brand. So get out there and be heard, or better yet… listen.
